LEAVING BEHIND

A view from the present into an unexpected future.

A joint project by Avihai Mizrahi, Galit Shvo, Jonathan Ventura, Neil Nenner

The exhibition explores the emotional and psychological tension between choice and escape in the face of uncertain futures. The exhibition presents six thought-provoking works that blur the boundaries between domestic and maritime archetypes. Through objects caught in states of transition—neither fully formed nor entirely functional—the exhibition invites viewers to reflect on the moments of hesitation, indecision, and potential that arise when facing the unknown. By challenging the rush to escape and emphasizing the importance of lingering in moments of speculation, "Leaving Behind" opens a conversation about how we confront crises and imagine alternate options.
